Joseph Koehl

Joseph Koehl is a fine art photographer working in the greater Cincinnati area. He is graduating in the Summer of 2008 from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Through his artwork, Joseph explores in simple vernacular the worlds in which we live and work. He seeks to better understand and exhibit the nuances of our physical world which reveal so much about our collectively subconscious nature.
Joseph’s resume includes many group exhibitions, as well as awards, scholarships, and grants. In 2006, he was awarded the Magrot Foundation Scholarship, and in 2007 he won the Schiff Family Scholarship at NKU. He was awarded the 2006-07 Student Undergraduate Research and Creative Award from NKU. Joseph’s work won the Second Place award in LexArt’s 2008 University Open exhibition.
