What do you get when you enter a rainbow world of French Pigs and sausage link characters that seem to watch your every move and visit your dreams? Where are you when you wander into open fields with random vintage ovens spitting out sharp toothed cupcakes known as the “T” army. When is hunting season for “Plush” animals, what weapons are used, and who does the taxidermy mounting?

“Plump and Plush” at the Feralmade Gallery will try to answer all of these questions with the help of artists Jason Brunson ( Cincinnati, Ohio ), Donald Ross“scribe” and Alisa Ross ( Kansas City, MO ). These artists will bring Feralmade an installation of wall painting, canvas, paper work, plush and custom painted toys to only be described as an animated stampede of a massive zoo escape.

Feralmade has operated for over a year, as a free, public and non-commercial artist-run gallery. All donations and proceeds will help us continue to provide this space for the community. Help keep Feralmade open, and help yourself to some art.

We are looking for some fresh new work for our 2008 gallery season.

do you have an idea for a group show?

do you have a bunch of sweet new art work that needs a place to be seen?

we are looking for all 2D and 3D works including but not limited to:

printmaking, photography, drawing, painting, mixed media, sculpture, fiber arts, and new media.

gallery proposals should include a statement of purpose along with 5-10 digital samples of work for consideration. please label files with your last name, title and consecutive numbers. Make files as a .jpeg and size them to 1000 pixels in the longest direction.

example: NAME_Title_1.jpg etc…
